➤ Built around the hydrating power of cold-pressed, hexane-free castor oil, CastorGloss delivers long-lasting moisture and a subtle, healthy shine with every swipe.

➤ Our mindfully-designed formula is boosted with coconut, jojoba, and olive oils for a smooth, glide-on texture that leaves lips soft feeling and glowing—not sticky.

➤ At the heart of it all is strawberry seed oil, cold pressed from upcycled seeds left behind by the juice industry. This antioxidant-rich oil is a skin-loving superstar, full of omega fatty acids and vitamins C and E to support skin softness and resilience.

➤ Infused with real vanilla bean extract (not synthetic fragrance).

➤ Because we believe what goes on your lips matters, we’ve left out the petroleum waxes and used only carnauba and candelilla wax to lock in moisture and shield against dryness.

What makes the ingredients special

Petroleum free: No petrolatum, petroleum jelly, mineral oil, parrafin wax, or ozokerite.
Hydrogenated castor oil: not petroleum-derived PEG-40.  It is castor wax, derived from castor beans (Ricinus communis).
Hydrating: Cold-pressed hexane free castor oil, coconut, jojoba, and olive oils provide deep, lasting moisture.
Protective: Carnauba and candelilla plant waxes create a breathable barrier to lock in hydration without beeswax.
Antioxidant-rich: Upcycled strawberry seed oil is bursting with nutrients to support soft, healthy lips.
Naturally flavoured: Subtle, comforting vanilla bean—no synthetic flavours or fragrances.
Sustainable: Made with strawberry seed oil saved from food waste.

Why is petroleum used in other lip balms?

Most mainstream products like lip balm, lip treatment, lip serum, even lip "sleeping mask" rely on petroleum-derived ingredients—like petrolatum, mineral oil, and paraffin wax—for lubrication, to thicken and solidify balm sticks, and as occlusives to seal in moisture.

While effective at sealing in moisture, petroleum-derived occlusives are non-renewable, polluting, may degrade slowly in the environment, and don’t provide true hydration—often prompting repeat applications.
