Camphor Laurel is recognized as a serious environmental weed species in Australia and control programs advocate integrated removal and replacement with Native trees. By utilising this ethically acceptable timber we contribute to the environment in a positive way.

Please note - upon arrival, the board will smell of camphor laurel, due to the natural oils of the wood. This will not transfer to the food, and is food-safe. The smell will fade with use, especially after an intial wash in warm soapy water.
