Wild Child: More Nature Play Activities for Kids NEW Edition
This book contains over 20 nature play activities including; Flower crowns, Fabric printing, Wood whittling, Pocket press, Nature paintbrushes and more! The activities are open-ended, meaning that children can use their imaginations and create dozens of things from one activity prompt. Nature play also improves fine motor skills, physical strength and coordination. It's also perfect for taking camping and for school holiday play ideas.
Hardcover. 119 pages. Published in 2020.
Dimensions: 16cm x 24cm.
In 2016, Brooke Davis established a nature play program in Adelaide called Wild Imagination. She noticed the significant shift away from green time since her childhood a few 'short' decades ago and thought kids today could do with a little old school fun! With a desire to get more kids immersed in the natural environment, plus offer an alternative to traditional vacation care, where parents could head to work and their children could be at a nature based school holiday program. The idea is that kids get to spend their school holidays more like we did when we were young; outside, exploring, creating and learning.
