Jana Aspeling, born in 1979 in Johannesburg, began in graphic design before shifting to fine arts at Stellenbosch University, specialising in printmaking and painting. After 20 years as a Master Hair Colourist, she returned to painting in 2021. Her vibrant works explore femininity, nature and daily life. Known for rich textures and symbolism, her art reflects personal growth and emotional depth. As a “reborn artist“ she feels that she has finally found her purpose and inner voice as an artist. Immortalising the beauty, perfection, and joy of nature on her canvases
